Hodia Kids Camp Jul 29 - Aug 4 For kids entering into 3rd – 7th grade in Fall 2018

Hodia Kids Camp is designed with the specific age group in mind. With various activities and adventures planned, Hodia campers will get to have fun and learn critical self-care skills. Located in the Sawtooth Mountains near beautiful Altruas Lake, Camp Hodia is as exciting as it is educational.

Camp Hodia is a place where campers can interact with others who have diabetes to learn from their experiences and discover that they are not alone with their disease. Hodia Kids Camp gives campers the opportunity to make friends and take steps toward managing their diabetes independently by learning to give and rotate their own insulin injections and pump sites, encourage regular blood sugar testing, increase carb counting skills, and balance meals with insulin and activity. Hodia campers learn about living life with diabetes, and with our education inter-wound throughout fun activities, it’s a blast for the kids!
