Due to river restrictions, Hodia Wilderness Camp Raft Trip participation will be limited. Campers are eligible if they are between the ages of 13 and 19. Participants and staff will be chosen based upon an application process. We may not be able to accept all applicants due to the river restrictions and demands of the program. Participants will be given priority based on application date, age, and preparedness and motivation to participate.
Note also that proof of current tetanus immunization is required for participation at Hodia Wilderness Camp (vaccination within 5 years prior to camp).
Since these camps require more limited staff responsibilities than our traditional summer camps and are more of a pleasure camp similar to ski camp, staff are requested to pay the camp fee as well. Doing so will allow for additional staff participation and help offset the cost for the kids.
