Welcome to the 2012 $10,000 Canyon County Weight Loss Challenge

Challenge Schedule
To become and remain eligible in the $10,000 Canyon County Weight Loss Challenge you must conduct regular, official, weigh-ins at the Medical Clinic Pharmacy in Caldwell. Official weigh-ins include your initial weight, weigh-ins once every calendar month, and your final weigh-in.

Register & Initial Weigh-In
Simply drop by the Medical Clinic Pharmacy between Saturday, January 21, 2012- Saturday, February 4, 2012 during regular business hours (see below). The pharmacy staff will register you!

Monday-Friday 8:00am- 6:00pm
Saturday 9:00am- 2:00pm

Our amazing sponsors will be giving away TONS of free resources to help you during the Challenge on a first-come, first-served basis so register today!

Monthly Weigh-Ins
Preferred monthly weigh-ins are on the last Saturday of each month from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. If you are unable to weigh-in on those dates, you may alternatively weigh in at the pharmacy during business hours during each month of the Challenge.

Final Weigh-Ins and Award Ceremony
Saturday, July 14, 2012 10:00am- 12:00pm

Rules Summary
You must be at least 18 years old at the time of registration.
You must weigh-in monthly to remain eligible for cash prizes.
You must abide by all CCWLC rules and regulations to participate in the Challenge and remain eligible for cash prizes.

Team Registration is simple and has a lot of perks! Check out the Team Registration Form for information and then have your Team Captain complete the form and turn it in to the pharmacy prior to March 1.

Facts About $10,000 Canyon County Weight Loss Challenge
The $10,000 Canyon County Weight Loss Challenge, Presented by Medical Clinic Pharmacy and Wild 101, is about improving the lives in our community. We are asking all of the residents of Canyon County to get and stay healthy, have fun, and help children living with diabetes, all for the chance to win a lot of money!

The person who loses the biggest percentage of their body weight between January 21, 2012 and July 14, 2012 will win their share of $10,000 CASH! $6,000 for first place, $3,000 for second place and $1,000 for third place!

Health and wellness are lifelong commitments. The cost to participate is only a $50 registration fee! For the fee, participants will be given plenty of local resources and motivational tools to lose and maintain a healthy weight. These will given away from by our sponsors on a first come, first served basis at the Kick-Off on January 21-- so please arrive early! We hope the $10,000 Canyon County Weight Loss Challenge helps you become motivated and familiar with some resources to help you get started on the road to a lifetime of good health.

Please check with your physician before starting the Canyon County Weight Loss Challenge, and throughout, to make sure the choices you are making are healthy for you and your family.

All proceeds raised will benefit Idaho Diabetes Youth Programs (dba Camp Hodia). IDYP is a local nonprofit organization that, since 1978, has been providing camps and programs for all children and teens with type 1 diabetes regardless of their family's ability to pay.
