Magic Valley $10,000 Weight Loss Challenge

A few residents of the Magic Valley will get fit, and win their big share of $10,000 cash! Join us for this long awaited event: The Magic Valley $10,000 Weight Loss Challenge. We are asking everyone to get fit, have fun, and help children living with diabetes, all for the chance to win a lot of money!  

You do not have to be from the Magic Valley to participate OR win! Although you must complete the initial weigh in AT Kurt's Pharmacy in Twin Falls on Saturday, Jan 3rd. Then you have until Saturday, July 11 to loose that body fat percentage and do the final weigh in at Kurt's Pharmacy. Only 2 trips to Twin Falls are required!

If you're up for it, up for getting fit, the cost to be eligible for the $10,000 prize is only a $50 registration fee!

All proceeds raised will go to Idaho Diabetes Youth Programs, and will help us continue improving the lives of Idaho's youth living with type 1 diabetes and their families, regardless of their ability to pay. Please join us in this challenge to get fit, and give to Camp Hodia so that we may continue to better our community.

Dinner is provided by IDYP for you and your family. Please have the kids wear their costumes as we’ll have the traditional costume parade and prizes. Also bring a hollowed out pumpkin to carve and some carving tools for each of your kids. We’ll have an evening full of games and fun – including a kid friendly Haunted House!

Christmas Party 2008 -- What a fun party -- hope you will join us next time! 2009 date TBA

When: Saturday, December 13th 6-9pm
Where: Covenant Presbyterian Church, 4848 N. Five Mile Road (corner of McMillan and 5 Mile -- Boise)

Please bring a wrapped gift for your child.  We’ve contacted the North Pole – and Santa is planning a visit.  A yummy dinner will be served – we’ll even do all of the carb counting for you!  Please bring a side dish to share with everyone.  If your last name begins with A-O, please bring any side dish you’d like that can serve 7-10 people. If your last name begins with P-Z please bring a dessert to feed 7-10 people.

Please bring a wrapped gift for your child -- we've e-mailed the North Pole to see if Santa can fit us in on his busy schedule. He always seems to have time for our Christmas party -- and I bet he shows up this year too!
